Exim Bank to use `Ababil\\\' software

Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited (EXIM Bank) Tuesday signed an agreement with Millennium Information Solution Ltd. (Millennium).
Under the agreement, Millenni­um will deploy "Ababil Offshore Banking Solution" to run the operations of Offshore Banking Unit (OBU) of EXIM Bank.
Mr. Dr. Mohammed Haider Ali Miah, Managing Director & CEO of EXIM Bank Limited, and Mr. Mahmud Hossain, Managing Director of Millennium Information Solution Ltd, signed the agreement for the implementation of "Ababil Offshore Banking Solution" at EXIM Bank Ltd Head Office, on behalf of their respective organizations.
Mr. Dr. Mohammed Haider Ali Miah said, "Through this association, we hope to use local software solution and expertise in providing our valuable clients a compact Offshore Banking solution."
"We strongly believe that this partnership will help EXIM Bank to serve its non-resident Bangladeshi clients more efficiently, and further attract foreign investments which shall benefit the economy of our country", Mr. Mahmud Hossain said during the event.
